We can actually change what we believe about ourselves. Often people who have experienced trauma learn to think that "I am weak. I don't matter. I have to please everybody, and I can't make mistakes." Those thoughts are really not true, but if you believe them, then you will behave, live, and make decisions that demonstrate what you believe. If you want to learn, change, and grow, then take the opportunity to step out and renew your way of thinking. Take a chance and change what you believe.
